Infrared sensors that count single photons at room temperature

Redstart Technologies designs sensors that detect single photons of short-wave infrared light: containing an array of pixels, working at room temperature. We are building them into a camera for life-science imaging and into receivers for quantum communication.

Solutions

Single-photon sensing for bio-imaging and QKD

Bio-imaging

Deeper imaging

A single-photon camera for short-wave infrared microscopy, to image deeper into tissue.

Quantum communication

Fast QKD

Single-photon receivers for quantum key distribution, without cryogenic cooling.
